Hasbro Cotton Candy Collector Pony Vintage Mail Order Version My Little Pony G1

This vintage My Little Pony is the Cotton Candy Collector Pony, she’s dark pink with a pink mane and tail, purple eyes, and white spots for her symbol.

This version of Cotton Candy was available in Year 5 through a mail order offer and is a darker pink than the Year 1 and Year 2 versions. 

Cotton Candy’s hair is free of tangles and very smooth. Her body shows a little surface dirt and there are some dark spots on her non-display side, as shown in the second photo. Her tail has been removed and put back in place so some of the metal is showing, but you can push it in a little further to hide this.

There’s a nick in the plastic on her front leg and a yellow spot on the other leg, as shown in the 3rd photo. There’s also an imperfection on one of her feet, the plastic is warped so that it looks flat even though this version has concave feet.

The bottom of her feet are marked “1982 Hasbro, Hong Kong.”
